A story of Liberty. Revolution. And Migration

My Mother, Mary is a story of Liberty, Revolution, and Migration through the eyes of the Grenadian people near and far that captures an authentic intergenerational conversation around a suppressed and repainted history around the African-diaspora’s Liberation.

The Mission

My Mother, Mary, is a film that captures an authentic intergenerational conversation about a suppressed and repainted history around the discourse of Black Liberation. Through this documentary series, Caribbeans near and far will have access to reclaiming an integral part of their history that shaped the world as we know it today. Not only will the Caribbean diaspora reign in its deserved appreciation, a gap between the old and young will be bridged by putting their testimonies in conversation with one another.
